What is the SQE?
The SQE is the Solicitors Qualifying Examination. It is the centralised exam which all new solicitors will need to pass in order to become a qualified solicitor. It is split into two parts: SQE1 and SQE2. Combined, these examinations assess a prospective solicitor's legal knowledge and skills.
